Learn, Play and Win Creative Cloud Subscription with LevelUp for Photoshop
This is one more fantastic extension for Photoshop. You can learn while playing the game. This smart extension for Photoshop CS5/6 have everything that you need to learn: step by step tasks and instructions, images to work with, help and progress bar. Tasks are not boring but rather real world examples which you will use on every day basis.
Download and install LevelUp
First follow this link to download LevelUp for Photoshop. Close Photoshop and unzip package. Double click LevelUpForPhotoshop.zxp file. Adobe Extensions Manager will appear and will guide you through installation process. Installation is quick and easy. You can also easily uninstall extension at any time.
Using LevelUp
Start Photoshop and go to Window > Extensions > LevelUp for Photoshop. I will suggest you to click LevelUp icon and holding down left mouse buttton drag to the bottom of Photoshop window till blue line appear, then release left mouse button. In this way you will have LevelUp panel docked at bottom of window.
You must be connected to the internet in order to use LevelUp. Welcome screen will appear and you will get first points to sign in with option to share news on social media sites. Stupid? Sounds like kids game? Actually it is not only kids game and even experienced users can check knowledge.
Step by step instructions will appear on screen with option to use provided image to complete the task so you do not need to search for image on your hard drive. First task is to remove red eye. I am not very excited with this task but LevelUp follows my actions and changes instructions after task is completed. Also progress bar is updating with each step.
Next task is to whiten teeth using Hue/Saturation and blending modes. Do you know for this technique? It works perfect!
Third task is to remove wrinkles non-destructively using Healing Brush tool. Yes, non-destructively using Current and Below (layer) option in Options bar.
Next task you will discover including propositions and how many points you need for a chance to win Amazon gift card and Creative Cloud subscription.
Conclusion
It is realy good, educative and interesting extension, free and works very well. I recommend it for novice users, it is more interesting to learn in this way then reading boring tutorials and explanations.
